The Wall

There has been lots of talk lately about building a wall on our southern border to keep drugs and illegals out of the United States, and also there has been much talk about extreme vetting in an effort to keep terrorists from entering our country. When reading the scripture we find that heaven has walls and also has an extreme vetting processes.

HEAVEN'S WALL: Revelation 21:12 "And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates..."

Revelation 21:17 "And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel." (This would be around seventy two yards)

EXTREME VETTING: Revelation 21:27 "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."

John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

QUESTION: Will you be alowed into heaven with this vetting system? Is your name written in the book of life? I want to share some scripture verses that might help answer these questions.

Gods ONLY Way of Salvation:

FIRST, acknowledge that you are evil.

Matthew 15:19 "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:"

Matthew 7:11 "If ye then, being evil"

SECOND, acknowledge that your sin is so heinous that you deserve an eternity in hell.

Matthew 25:46 "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."

THIRD, because Christ paid for your sin by his shed blood, and suffering, and then rose from the dead the third day. you have the oportunity to REPENT now and TRUST in him for Salvation. Mark 1:15 "And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."

The Gospel Road

If the salvation offered to us were dependent on our merit or our ability to keep the law, it would not be good news because of our sinfulness and complete inability to keep the law or any kind of righteous principles as a means of our justification or right standing with God.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
